La Montecchia
Golf della Montecchia, adjoining the La Montecchia estate, was designed by Tom Macaulay, chairman of the British Association of Golf Course Architects. The site comprises of an 18-hole course and a 9-hole course and covers over 200 acres. Attached to the course is the clubhouse - a converted tobacco warehouse - the excellent Restaurant Relais Golf Montecchia, run by the Alajmo family, who also own the restaurant Le Calandre, which has been awarded 3 Michelin stars this year, a bar, a pro-shop and the swimming pool with sauna.
