Newmachar Golf Club, Aberdeen
Newmachar Golf Club opened for business in September 1990, and has continued to grow and develop since having in place two par 72, 18 hole golf courses, a floodlit driving range and short game practice area, as well as a modern sumptuous clubhouse. Already Newmachar has hosted: the Scottish Seniors open; Scottish Assistant Championship; Scottish Alliance Championship; The Doug Sanders International Boys and Girls European and World Championship; The North East District Open; and The Scottish Area Team Finals and, in 1998, The Scottish Professional Championship.
