Mount Edgecombe
Mount Edgecombe Country Club has two magnificent championship golf courses uniquely designed offering the competitive golfer a true test of golf and the social golfer an enjoyable round. Course One was redesigned by Hugh Baiocchi and is one of the few courses in South Africa designed to USGA specifications. The course has a parkland layout with many exotic trees and begins with four shortish holes, then builds in strength right to the finish. Course Two was designed by Daysen, De Villiers and Van dev Merwe and is positioned directly south of Course One. The topographical features, undulating hills with isolated indigenous bush, a stream running from East to West, the Pani Dam and two sensitive wetlands were taken into account when the development began and as a consequence, this is one of the most beautiful courses in South Africa.
