Ferndown Golf Club
Ferndown Golf Club is located in beautiful countryside, just a couple of miles north of the seaside town of Bournemouth. There are two courses at Ferndown: the 'Old Course' and the 'president's course'. The Old Course is an 18-hole course that is kept in immaculate condition all year round. The course is well-known for its prettiness, with an abundance of heather and pine trees and beautiful countryside views. The hazards at the Old Course are subtle, with well-designed and positioned bunkers. A good score at this course depends completely on keeping the ball in play. The 9-hole President's Course is a challenging course that requires careful and accurate play in order to avoid the natural hazards. The course ends with a testing par three with lots of sand guarding a large green.
