Queens Park Golf Club
Queens Park Golf Club, located in the middle of Bournemouth, is set in undulating mature parkland with picturesque tree-lined fairways. Queen's Park has played host to such greats as Bobby Locke, Henry Cotton and from the modern era, one Severiano Ballesteros. In 1939 the Daily Mail Golf Tournament was held at Queen's Park and it was a regular on the European tour in the 1970's. Queen's Park Golf Course is in great condition. The fairways meander freely through many acres of lovely heathers, colourful gorse and all in a wonderful pine woodland setting. The greens are in superb condition, fast and true, providing a good challenge to even the best golfers. It is definitely living up to its reputation as one of the finest and most picturesque municipal courses in the south of England.
