Bramshaw Golf Club
Bramshaw Golf Club, the oldest in Hampshire, is situated at Brook in the heart of the beautiful New Forest National Park. The Club has two excellent and contrasting 18-hole courses. The mature parkland Manor Course is 6,537 yards (Par 71), and the heathland Forest Course is 5,774 yards long (Par 69). The Forest Course, like a links course but inland, offers the unusual feature of playing amongst roaming deer and forest ponies (and even pigs in the autumn!). The ever-changing scenery of humps, hollows and meandering streams test golfing skills and judgement within an idyllic New Forest setting. Its open aspects and rolling heathland are in complete contrast to the Manor Course. The Manor Course was opened in 1970. Set amidst the beautiful New Forest in landscaped parkland of mature trees and 200 year old hardwood plantations, it is undoubtedly amongst the finest and most picturesque courses in the South of England. The Manor Course is gently undulating, with excellent fairways and greens, and is a stern test for any golfer. Good shot selection is essential!
