The Kendleshire Golf Club
Set in the heart of the Frome Valley, minutes from Bristol, the 260 acre estate is home to 27 holes of Championship golf with some of the finest greens in the West Country, and extensive practice facilities - as used by the County and National Teams. The Hollows and Ruffet Courses were opened in 1997 to much critical acclaim. Designed by Adrian Stiff, they both feature a healthy amount of water, such as the "Island Green" 11th hole with Adrian's trademark sleeper-banks, and provide a challenge to many a good scorecard. The Peter McEvoy-designed Badminton Course opened in 2001, built to compliment its sister courses whilst adding an extra degree of challenge with its undulating greens. The course prides itself on the fantastic quality of its greens.
