The K Club Golf Resort
The K Club Resort boasts two fantastic 18-hole golf courses. Designed by Arnold Palmer, The Palmer Ryder Cup Course and The Palmer Smurfit Course are considered two of Europe's finest Championship Courses. The Palmer Ryder Cup Course, ranked regularly in the top 3 parkland golf courses in Ireland, is a must play 'badge of honour' that has hosted the top golf players in the world. The Ryder Cup in 2006 and 11 European Opens testify the importance of The Palmer Ryder Cup Course to European Golf. The Palmer Smurfit Course is best described as an inland links course. The Course has many dramatic landscapes with dune type mounding throughout and wild species of plants, such as gorse, bracken etc have been planted in a highly random fashion, more or less as nature would have intended.
