Golf de Montpellier Juvignac
The 18 hole course, was designed by New-Zealander Chris Pittman in 1991. It is typical of the Montpellier hinterland, with a very technical layout, including doglegs and is a real thinking man's course. It has a backdrop of the Garrigue scrubland. It is a course which lends itself particularly well to be played again and again, with new strategies becoming apparent each time. The first 7 holes are reasonably complex: For example, hole N° 4, a dogleg right of 340m on which it is necessary to clear 150m of Garrigue to put yourself in the ideal spot to attack a very raised green with steep slopes either side.
