Characterised by two large lakes and spectacular views of the Monchique Mountains, the Alamos Golf Course provides a delightful variety of holes. Alto Golf & Country Club

Boavista Golf Resort
The course at Boavista Golf Resort opened in January 2002 and quickly became established as one of the Western Algarve’s premier courses. This impressive 18 hole championship course offers exceptional playing conditions and was designed by Howard Swan a renowned UK based architect. The course offers an enjoyable range of very individual golf holes which offer varying challenges for all levels of golfer. The par 3’s are particularly strong and no golfer who has played over the ravine at the 194 metre 6th will ever forget the experience. Gramacho Golf
Nick Price and Ronald Fream created this uniquely designed 18 hole golf course, with 27 varied greens that enable the golfer to play the same course several times with different greens and new challenges. Morgado Golf Club
The Morgado Golf Course is located in a large 980 hectare estate to the north of Portimao. The immediate main characteristic factor is its large greens, which place demand on good putting skills. Also, the accuracy of the player's shot will be questioned by deep aggressive bunkers. The clubhouse is spacious and comfortable and has beautiful views of the course. Opened in September 2008, this is one of the two new golf courses built by the Oceanico Group, just south of Silves. Oceanico O'Connor
Perfectly complementing the Faldo Course, whilst taking advantage of the rich valley soil in contrast to the arid hillside, Christy O'Connor Jnr's course at Amendoeira offers no less of a challenge. The Onyria Palmares course has recently been upgraded and is now one of the best courses in the Europe. The recent European rankings put Palmares at number 26. Salgados Golf Course is situated behind the beautiful sandy beach of Praia de Gale. The course is flat and vegetation is sparse, resulting in a course that is open to the elements. Silves
Silves is a serene spot, but the course is anything but the proverbial walk in the park. A drive at the opening hole has to flirt with two water hazards on both flanks. A heroic and straight shot will reward the player with an easy uphill approach. Silves encourages and rewards attacking play. The excellent condition, all year round, is ideal for low scoring.
