Oceanico Vilamoura Laguna
Laid out over low-lying coastal terrain, this course, with its many water hazards and few trees, is considerably different from the other ones at the resort and many of its holes convey a links atmosphere. U.S. golf architect, Joseph Lee, designed this course, which was opened in 1990 and many previous visitors will recognise it as part of the former 27 hole Vilamoura III course. Oceanico Vilamoura Millennium
This conventional Par-72 course opened in the year 2000, although the completely refurbished back nine holes (formerly part of the 27-hole Laguna Course) had been completed in their original configuration a decade earlier. An interesting golf course lined with hundreds of umbrella pines. Sensible golfers take their penalty & chip back on to the fairway after encountering the trees; those who do not, pay the price! Oceanico Vilamoura Old Course
Situated in the heart of the Vilamoura seaside resort, a mere 20-minute drive from Faro airport, this Frank Pennink designed parkland style layout is one of the oldest golf courses in the region and renowned all over the golfing world. Often described as the Grande Dame of Algarve courses, it meanders throughout impressive pinetrees - the principal hazard - over gently undulating natural terrain. Oceanico Vilamoura Pinhal
This was the second golf course built in Vilamoura and inaugurated in 1976, having originally been designed by Frank Pennink, the architect of the nearby Vilamoura Old Course. This is a good course for a group of mixed handicap golfers with generous fairways and large greens. As with all of the Vilamoura courses, it is maintained to a high standard. Oceanico Vilamoura Victoria
Oceanico Vilamoura Victoria in the Algarve was home of the World Cup of Golf in 2005 and the Portugal Masters in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Pine Cliffs Golf Club
Pine Cliffs is a nine-hole golf course designed by Martin Hawtree. The course is located near Albufeira and is set on the edge of a cliff with spectacular views of the algarve beaches and the atlantic ocean beyond. The course's signature hole is a par 3 with a championship tee that requires the golfer to hit a 205 metre carrying shot right over the beach to land on a deep, but narrow, green. Pinheiros Altos Golf Resort in Quinta do Lago is one of the most prestigious and successful premier golf and leisure resorts in Europe. Pinheiros Altos is located in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. Excellent facilities make this course well worth a visit. It has a very active membership, so early booking of tee times is essential. Serves the best breakfast on the Algarve in our opinion. Quinta Do Lago Laranjal
In keeping with its reputation for excellence, Quinta do Lago has opened its new and third 18 hole championship course, Laranjal. Originally an orange grove, it is today a beautiful and totally different golf experience. Its narrow fairways and well-defined greens require concentration and accuracy to navigate this testing route laid out on a rolling and distinctive terrain. Quinta do Lago North

San Lorenzo
