Ca’ della Nave has a surface of 75 hectares (1854 acres) and can offer players two different courses: a “classic” one of 18 holes, par 72 and an “executive” one of 9 holes. The two courses were designed by Arnold Palmer, who, for Villa Grimani Morosini Taneda Ca’ della Nave, laid out exclusive plans for a golf course for the first time in Italy. The result is an excellent course, both technically and aesthetically characterized by several artificial lakes, which can be found at 12 of the 18 holes. The Asiago Golf Club is considered one of the finest mountain courses in Europe. The layout was designed by Peter Harradine and the great advantage of the course is that, although it is in the mountains, the game is played on a plateau, without particular differences in height, ensuring that players can always address the ball with their feet on level ground. Constructed in 1960 with nine holes designed by J. Harris, the course has been completely renewed with 18 holes. The particular environmental characteristics aided the success of the project and the whole work was achieved respecting the precious ecosystem that surrounds the golf club. The Colli Berici Golf Club is situated in a privileged position, surrounded by the charming countryside of the Berici Hills, but at the same time easily accessible with the Montecchio Maggiore motorway exit close by, at a short distance from the historic centre of Vicenza. The 18-hole course, protected by the hills of Brendola and Altavilla townships, has an average altitude of 300 m. Venice Golf Club is constructed on sand dunes (sand dunes oasis in Lido is protected by WWF), making it one of the few true links courses in Italy. Golf della Montecchia, adjoining the La Montecchia estate, was designed by Tom Macaulay, chairman of the British Association of Golf Course Architects. The site comprises of an 18-hole course and a 9-hole course and covers over 200 acres. Attached to the course is the clubhouse - a converted tobacco warehouse - the excellent Restaurant Relais Golf Montecchia, run by the Alajmo family, who also own the restaurant Le Calandre, which has been awarded 3 Michelin stars this year, a bar, a pro-shop and the swimming pool with sauna.
