PGA of Sweden National
The PGA of Sweden National, located in the former grounds of Torup castle, has two fantastic 18-hole golf courses. The Links Course is a classic 18 hole championship course created in tandem with nature. The course has the typical characteristics of links golf with large undulating greens and numerous small deep bunkers. The grass specification for the links course is a fescue blend, providing the playing characteristics typical to links courses. With around 20 metres altitude difference, the course is a demanding and exciting golf experience, which requires a certain amount of guile to avoid the small stream which runs along seven of the holes on the links. In May 2010, The Lakes Course was opened. It is designed in a parkland style that evokes traditional architecture from early 20th century. Small greens, large bunkers and water hazards define the character of the lakes. The large lake that extends from the clubhouse comes into play on holes 9, 17 and 18 creating fabulously exciting finishing holes for both the front and back nines. A magnificent, thoroughly enjoyable test for golfers of all standards. Read more about PGA of Sweden National Find Accommodation + Add to My Trip
