Located within the Sabi River Sun Resort, just outside Hazyview, the Sabi River Bungalows golf course is a fantastically designed and very natural golf course. The course has spectacular views of the surrounding wooded hills and the Drakensberg Mountains in the distance. The course is teeming with wildlife and some larger residents, such as hippos and crocodiles, can be found in the hippo pond alongside the par 4 16th hole. With relatively narrow fairways and water hazards coming into play on 15 out of the 18 holes, the course is certainly no push-over! Skukuza Golf Club
The Skukuza Golf Club is a nine-hole (18-tee) golf course situated within the confines of the Kruger National Park. The course is not fenced in, and as a consequence, wild animals are free to roam the course adding an interesting and exciting dimension to your game. The signature hole is the par-3 9th, which has the golfer hitting the ball over Lake Panic (which can contain up to thirty hippos) in order to reach the green. The White River golf course is a pleasant course comprising of two contrasting nine-hole loops. The older front nine has definition from several tall gum trees and pine trees that line the fairways and create some tighter tee shots. The recently constructed back nine has a more open feel to it than the front nine. However, the frequent use of water hazards on the back nine make for a real challenge for golfers of all abilities.
