2. What deposit do I need to pay?
A deposit of £50 per person must be paid at the time of booking. We reserve the right to ask for additional amounts if we need to book and pay for travel arrangements in full at the time of booking your holiday. On receipt of your deposit which is treated as part payment of your holiday we will issue both a booking confirmation and invoice. This will indicate the exact date by which the balance must be paid.
3. How do I know my money is safe?
Leisure Link Promotions Ltd is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. In accordance with'' The Package Travel , Package Tours Regulations 1992'' all passengers booking with Leisure Link Promotions Ltd are fully insured for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation form. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Leisure Link Promotions Ltd. This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Chapman Stevens through IGI Insurance Company Ltd. Policy exclusions: This policy will not cover any monies paid for Travel Insurance or any claim relating to Air Flights.
We are members of the Association of British Travel Agents, ABTA, membership number W1589. As well as ABTA, we are also respected members of IAGTO; the International Association of Golf Tour Operators. ABTOF; the Association of British Travel Organisers to France and ATOP; the Association of Travel Organisers to Portugal.
4. What credit cards do you accept and do you charge a surcharge?
The credit and debit cards we accept are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Switch, Electron, Solo and Delta. Please note there is no surcharge for deposit payments but all balance payments made by credit card carry a 2% handling charge. Balance payments made by debit cards do not carry a handling charge. Balance payments made by American Express carry a 4% handling charge.
5. Are you able to book packages without golf?
We are able to arrange holiday packages without golf in the same way we book our golf packages. We can also book holiday packages with other activities included such as Disneyland Paris or boat excursions. When you have non-golfers travelling with you, we can them for accommodation and travel only. Please let your travel specialist know when you ask for your quote.
6. Do I need a handicap certificate?
The majority of courses we use do not require handicap certificates however certain courses do. Please ask your consultant for more information on this before booking your golf break.
7. Are you able to book buggies or lunches in advance of our arrival?
For the little extras that make your holiday extra special - click on Premium Services in the Information navigator to see what else in addition to the holiday we can book in advance of your arrival...And yes we can book buggies and lunches in advance.
8. The suggested itinerary on your website is not what I am looking to book, can you modify the duration of the trip?
We have been organising golfing holidays across Europe and the World for nearly 20 years. The itinerary on the website is purely suggested and can be modified to your group's preferences. We tailor-make all of our packages and the itineraries on www.leisurelinkgolf.com are there as just a suggestion. Please call us on 01708 339300 for a personalised quotation.
9. Is there a minimum group size I must book?
There is no minimum or maximum number that we require to book your party although discounts apply at certain hotels for larger groups. We would advise larger groups to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
10. When do I receive my tickets and what should I expect to receive?
Travel documents will normally be forwarded to you 7-10 days prior to your departure, provided that the balance of your account has been settled in full. Your ticket pack will include your travel, accommodation and golf vouchers as well as tourist information which may prove useful during your trip.
11. Is there a discount if we take our children?
Children's discounts are provided at selected resorts and are available on request. Junior fees are charged at a number of golf courses and are also available on request. Where possible, we shall always try and provide a free holiday for young children when travelling and sharing rooms with fully paid adults.
12. When must I pay my balance?
The balance of your holiday cost must be paid no later than eight weeks before the holiday departure date. Bookings made less than eight weeks before departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
13. What time can I check in at my hotel?
Your accommodation is usually reserved for you from 4 pm, on the day of your arrival. In most cases, rooms must be vacated by 12 noon on the last day of your holiday. If you require your room outside of these times, please ask your travel specialist (Times referred to above are local times).
14. Can I cancel my booking?
You or any other member of your party may cancel your holiday at any time provided that the cancellation is made by the person who is responsible for confirming the booking with Leisure Link. This must be communicated to us in writing. We will retain your deposit and, in addition, apply cancellation charges up to the maximum amounts shown below:-
(a) In the event of cancellations more than 8 weeks prior to the date of travel, the deposit will be forfeited plus any costs incurred by us.
(b) For cancellations received 8 weeks prior to travel, the charge will be 100% of the total holiday cost.
Note: If the reason for the cancellation is covered under the terms and conditions of an insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges.
15. Who do I make cheques payable to?
Cheques should be made payable to 'Leisure Link Promotions Limited'.
