Ploemeur Ocean Golf Club boasts a fantastic 18-hole golf course with spectacular views of the sea and the Ile-de-Groix from its elevated position. The course has an interesting layout with the first half of the course set out on sandy soil, resembling a genuine links and the second half of the course being inland and almost parkland in character.
The mixture of the two contrasting styles makes this course an absolute joy to play. This 6,364-yard course has an undulating terrain with a few slopes to climb. The first nine holes are tightly packed together and players will need to take care to avoid the menacing gorse and the numerous water hazards in the form of streams, ponds and even a river.
The back nine are situated close to the small village of Kerham with holes 11 to 16 running right along the seashore. The course provides a very interesting and unique round of golf and is not one to be missed.
