Golf de Saint Laurent is situated close to the beautiful seaside towns of Carnac and Quiberon in the rural countryside and quiet woodland. It boasts a superb 18-hole parkland course that has hosted a number of championships over the years, including the French Professional Championship and the National Open.
The course weaves its way through an oak and pine forest with tree-lined fairways that are generally quite generous, but on occasion can be fairly tight. The fairways lead to excellent greens that are firm and fast. Strategic bunkering is the main threat with some of the bunkers being almost as big as the greens. Water is less of a threat, but the multitude of lakes requires golfers to be careful with their accuracy.
This gently undulating course features a couple of fairly steep hills, but is essentially walkable. It is consistently voted as one of the top 40 courses in France and provides an enjoyable round of golf that is suitable for all.
