Golf de Val Queven is situated in Queven in the heart of the Breton countryside and just 15 minutes from Lorient. Designed by golf course architect Yves Bureau, the fantastic 18-hole course at Val Queven is beautifully landscaped and is home to a number of horse chestnut trees and fine oaks.
This 6,715-yard course runs clockwise on the way out and anti-clockwise on the return with the second half wrapped around the first. The fairways are bordered by mature trees with many blocking your second shot, so precision off the tee is extremely important.
Water does not feature too heavily on the course, but the course can be testing at times with its undulating terrain and its numerous bunkers and relatively large and tricky greens that are bordered with wooded mounds. It has a technically demanding layout that is suitable for all handicaps and is kept in superb condition.
