Saint-Malo Le Tronchet was originally opened back in 1986 and has undergone a few upgrades since then to turn it into a very good test of golf. It was designed by the same team that produced Golf National, the 2018 Ryder Cup course and regular host to the French Open.
The golf course is located in the heart of an extensive hunting ground, a short drive from the towns of St Malo and Dinard. There are 27 holes in total, the main 18-hole course covers over 250 acres and is one of the largest domains in Brittany.
The golf course has a stunning backdrop of the forest of Mesnil and Mirloup the lake of Mirloup and provides a unique challenge with the combination of the water hazards and sand traps. At the centre of the resort is a great value hotel with modern rooms, a brasserie with a large terrace overlooking the 18th green and a bar.
