Estoril Palacio Golf Course

Portugal Lisbon

Set in a mature pine forest and looking over the Estoril coast, the Estoril Palacio golf course may not be the longest, but it provides a challenging and enjoyable round to players of all abilities.

Estoril Golf Club was built in 1929, and was redesigned in 1945 by the renowned golf architect Mackenzie Ross.

The lush fairways are fairly tight, and the well maintained greens are small, so the course rewards accuracy rather than big hitting. A measure of the quality of the Estoril course, is the fact that it has hosted the Portuguese Open no fewer than twenty times
