Barbaroux is set high in the Provence hills in some stunning scenery and is full of contoured fairways, large bunkers, sloping greens and trees.
Built in the purest tradition of modern golf architecture by Pete Dye Junior and Senior, every hole on the course combines a respect for nature with technical flair. Barbaroux is located above the French Riviera and the course offers a lot of variation with every hole being different from the next. The course is relatively short, but is particularly difficult and boasts the biggest green in Europe. The fact that it’s so well-designed, however, makes it playable for all levels of golfer.
To score well you will need to use every club in your bag and use them well. Don’t be daunted by the tough reputation of this course, just come and enjoy it, use your handicap and don’t be greedy and you’ll have a great day out.
